Is lack of discipline a bigger hindrance to development than corruption?

Whenever I go to work every morning I always witness chaos among the passengers and public transport drivers.
This made me think that maybe the lack of discipline is a worse problem than corruption.
Imagine how many man-hours are wasted every hour, every day by the lack of discipline by which Filipinos conduct their daily affairs.
This lack of discipline stems from the Filipinos’ “me first” attitude.  The utter lack of consideration for his fellow man.
Corruption and lack of discipline seems to come from the same source . . . the “me first” culture.
And such can only be solved by a change in mentality of individuals, which leads to a change in the culture of society.
Good thing culture keeps on changing . . . and it means that we can have a hand in charting our future.
So do your share in making sure that this future change will be for the better.
Don’t be a bystander.
